It was really dark outside. It was also quiet, with all the clansmen being inside the house.
Once they got a considerable distance away from the house and were closer to the gate, Aiko suddenly fell over into the ground.

Megumi knelt next to Aiko and gently patted her face to see if she was conscious, "Aiko..Aiko, wake up."

Aiko had one of those sleepy darts in her neck. She was breathing slowly.
There was the sound of footsteps, coming towards Megumi, but it was hard to see the attacker because of the dark.

Megumi distinctively heard the footsteps coming closer, she picked up Aiko and started to walk back to the house.

The attacker followed suit, shooting darts at Megumi.

The dart hit Megumi in the shoulder, she still continued to walk before collapsing on the floor under Aiko.
