They continued to walk towards the house, when Megumi stopped in her tracks.

She left, jogging around the corner she disappeared.

A small scream was given from around the corner, shortly after Megumi had went around it. A suspicious figure left from the corner about the same time as the scream, passing by Kouhei.

Kouhei's eyes widened as he sprinted around the corner to see Megumi collapsed on the sidewalk. He picked her up off the street, brushing any snow off her.
"You're going home now." he whispered, looking around for any other figures before flying off in the direction of Megumi's house.

Megumi still laid in Kouhei's arms unconscious.

Kouhei landed in front of Megumi's house and placed her on the balcony's bench.
He took a deep breathe before searching her pockets and purse for the key, then opening the door so that they could enter.
He picked her up again and placed her on the couch, "You're safe now."
