Megumi was walking through the food court in the mall until she got near the stores. She gazed in the window to see if anything had caught her interest, which much of it did.
She checked her wallet to see if she had enough money to buy what she wanted, but she was a little short.
She sighed, "I guess I have to go to an ATM." she said.
As she walked over to the ATM she noticed it said it was 'Out of Order'. She frowned, but decided to go look around some more for something else.
"I hope I can find Kouhei a nice present he deserves it, maybe it can lighten his spirits a little."
Finally, she took a break from window shopping, she bought a small soda from the vending machine before sitting back down at a table in the food court.

Megumi just happened to sit at the same table where my character was sitting.
He had short dark blonde hair and light blue eyes, that nearly looked gray. Open in front of him was a manga. He was near the middle of the book. Next to the manga was a platter of french fries, covered in thick ketchup. He still had a french fry in his hand because he stopped eating it just to stare quizzically at the new comer.

Megumi slighty flinched since she didn't notice the guy.
"Oh, pardon me. I didn't even notice you were sitting there. Do you mind if I still sit here?"

He ate his french fry, and then turned the page of his manga. He stopped reading just to stare at the label on the soda can.

He got up, "Fine." He looked around for a garbage can, "I'll just toss my fries."
